Autosegmental phonology analyzes components of signs non-linearly, emphasizing on the simultaneity in time of the components. The results of this study show that a ThSL sign is composed of handshape, orientation, location and movement as well as other non-manual components. Each of these components functions to distinguish word meaning in the same manner as a phoneme does in a spoken language. Evidence for syllable internal-structures is also found for ThSL. The syllable displays both aspects that are the same and different from that of a spoken language. Simultaneity in time is the most important characteristics of ThSL syllables. Moreover, ThSL displays behavior very much like that which was found in a spoken language, with variants, reduction and deletion of sign components and syllables. Syllables and words in ThSL are evident that ThSL consists of linguistic units and structures comparable to the phonological units and structures in a natural language.Item Community Based Rehabilitation: Multiple Perspectives and Significances(Journal of Ratchasuda College for Research and Development of Persons with Disabilities, 2010-01-12) Tavee CheausuwantaveeThis Research aims to examine and critique literatures and phenomena of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) in terms of the different meaning and significance beyond the traditional meaning as WHO and other international organizations defining. The 20 existing literatures regarding CBR and disability in which have been available in the library of Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University and Thamasat University were purposively collected. The data as direct experiences, filed visits, and tape-recording of dialogues and reflections among researcher and other participants within the previous research project in Phutthamonthon District, Nakornpathom Province, Thailand were also undertaken. The critical theory approach as interpretation and dialectical critique were administered on those data for constructing meaning or significance of CBR. The results reveal that there are the 6 different meanings and perspectives of CBR as follows: 1) a process for establishment of society ideal 2) a process for stigma breakdown and a ritual of passing 3) a competitor of capitalism 4) a social justice 5) a practice of discourse 6) an integral model. The research results suggest that once those different meanings and perspectives of CBR have been illustrated, the new understanding and awareness of policy makers, administrators and practitioners concerning CBR have to be emphasized. Furthermore, the new academic arguments on CBR should be studied.Item A Study of the Relationship between Participations in School Administration and Results of the Integrated Schools by the School - Based Management Through Framework in Kamphaengphet Academic Year 2006(Journal of Ratchasuda College for Research and Development of Persons with Disabilities, 2010-01-12) Winai RoopkhumdeeThe purposes of this research were to study 1) the participatory conditions of school administration 2) the results of school processing on the integrated schools and 3) the relationship between the participatory condition of school administration and the results of school processing of the integrated schools by the school-based management through SEAT framework method. The informants of the study are the wheel-chaired trainees in the electronic vocational development program of the Phrapradaeng Vocational Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled Person (PVRC), 4 persons. Collect data by using questionnaire and interviewing to evaluate the prototype. Analyze data by using descriptive statistics (frequency count) and content analysis. In conclusion, this research led to the development of a prototype of specially designed working table for repair and maintenance of electric equipment for physically impaired or wheel chaired-bound persons. The informants evaluated the prototype in the high to highest levels in the following aspect: convenience in installation and maintenance, size and structural suitability, and working safety. They evaluated the prototype in the moderate to highest levels in the following aspect: convenience of use, and commercial production. The informants are recommended that the prototype is good in easy to find small peaces of equipment, safe space, convenience to move and having the wheel-plate help them work easily. However, they recommended that the prototype has defect in these areas: difficult to adjust the equal level of the table, twist of the table’s legs, position of the mirror and the plug are not suitable, size of the drawer and the gutter preventing equipments falling down are not suitable, the lamp is not suitable for the job, there should be a preventing frame on the edge of the table to prevent things on the table from falling down and the length of the table should be reduced to match with the arm length of the user. So, the working desk prototype for wheel-chaired electronic mechanics should have modifications as suggested by the sample for the usage of using the prototype.Item การให้บริการครบวงจรแก่ผู้พิการในจังหวัดแพร่(Journal of Ratchasuda College for Research and Development of Persons with Disabilities, 2010-01-19) โฉมยงค์ บุตรราชAbstract available in ThaiItem บริการทางการศึกษาสำหรับนักศึกษาหูหนวกที่ National Technical Institute for the Deaf(Journal of Ratchasuda College for Research and Development of Persons with Disabilities, 2010-01-19) พรพรรณ์ สมบูรณ์abstract not availableItem การใช้ประโยชน์จากสื่ออินเตอร์เน็ตเพื่อการศึกษาของนักศึกษาพิการในหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์(Journal of Ratchasuda College for Research and Development of Persons with Disabilities, 2010-01-19) สาลินี เกื้อเกียรติวงศ์Abstract available in ThaiItem รูปแบบการดูแลสุขภาพต่อเนื่องครบทุกมิติในผู้บาดเจ็บไขสันหลัง โรงพยาบาลขอนแก่น(Journal of Ratchasuda College for Research and Development of Persons with Disabilities, 2010-01-19) ประภัสศรี ชาวงษ์Abstract available in ThaiItem The Development of Systematic Services for Ratchasuda College's Disability Support Services (DSS)(Journal of Ratchasuda College for Research and Development of Persons with Disabilities, 2010-01-19) Orn-Anong Songcharoen; Tidarat NongthongThis study aims to develop Disability Support Services : DSS of Ratchasuda College in order to have a distinct and systematic system, probably used as an example for other universities in setting up their DSS.
