Abstract
Background of the study: Sexual harassment at a workplace is considered a violation of women's right to equality, life, and liberty. FORBES INDIA has given data about the total number of sexual harassment complaints at workplace climbed by 27 % in the year 2022.According to INDIA TODAY most of the working women faced sexual harassment but only few were reported due to lack of knowledge regarding the law.Increased awareness & development of programme could help against workplace releted sexual harassment. To evaluate the effectiveness of anObjective: awareness programme on knowledge regarding sexual harassment among working women of selected urban areas . Methodology: Pre-experimental one group pre-testpost test research design will be used .The duration of study was one month .100 working women will be selected from selected urban areas of Nagpur as a sample through the purposive sampling technique.and the self structured knowledge questionare will be used to assess the knowledge..validity and reliability of the tool will assed with appropriate procedure and stastical method.. : Enhance theExpected Outcomes knowledge score of working women will be about 54% after administrating awareness programme regarding sexual harassment. . The study will be conducted in selected areas of working women of Nagpur district only.conclusion:Limitation: An awareness programme is highly signicant and effective strategy for educating the working women regarding sexual harassment.
