Abstract
IMPACT OF DIGITAL TEACHING ON KNOWLEDGE REGARDING LOW GLYCEMIC INDEX DIET AMONG THE DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS AT MANDYA. Original Research Paper Mrs. Shruthi K P Assistant Professor, RVS Institute of Nursing sciences, B. M. Road, Ummadahalli Gate, Mandya. X 1GJRA - GLOBAL JOURNAL FOR RESEARCH ANALYSIS Background: Diabetes mellitus is a growing public health concern, and dietary management plays a key role in glycemic control. However, many patients lack adequate knowledge about low glycemic index (GI) diets. A pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was used. Data were collected using a structuredMethods: knowledge questionnaire. The pretest mean score was 22.10, and the post-test mean score was 29.45, with a mean difference of 7.35. The paired t-test value (t = 14.989) indicated statistical signi?cance. The digital teaching programme signi?cantlyResults: improved the knowledge of diabetic patients regarding low GI diets. Digital education is an effective strategy toConclusion: enhance dietary knowledge among diabetes patients and should be integrated into routine nursing practice for better patient outcomes.
