dc.description.abstractIn the present work, some new 5-[2(3)-dialkylamino alkoxy] Indole 3-hydrazone 2-one and 5-[2(3)-dialkylamino alkoxy] indole 3-thiosemicarbazone 2- ones were prepared from 5-hydroxy isatin. The structures of the products were characterized by IR, NMR, MASS Spectral studies. Simplicity of the reaction conditions, easy workup procedure and good yields are the key features of this protocol.en_US
