Spinal injuries
Abstract
In spinal injuries, as in most conditions treatment should be based on knowledge of pathology. A brief account of the basic pathology of spinal injuries is given a suggestions are made as to the best treatment for each type of spinal injury, according to its pathology. Even if damage to the spinal cord is irreversible, much can be done to rehabilitate the patient to enable him to return home and resume wage earning.
