The antibacterial activity of the extracts of bryozoan E. bellula (Hincks) was tested against ten bacterial strains by antibiotic disc diffusion method. The maximum activity was observed against Proteus vulgaris, while Klebsiella pneumoniae and Shigella flexneri were insensitive to the bryozoan.en_US
