dc.description.abstractWe studied the occurrence of Streptococcus group G in throat cultures obtained from school children of poor socioeconomic status and in sick children brought to our hospital. The results revealed a high occurrence of group G Streptococci (44% and 91.5% respectively) in cases positive for beta-hemolytic Streptococci.en_US
