A 22-year-old woman with chronic calcific pancreatitis had dramatic relief of pain after pancreaticojejunostomy. Four years later, she presented with steatorrhea with osteomalacia and secondary hyperparathyroidism, a rare occurrence in chronic pancreatitis.
