Abstract
A 42-day-old female infant presented with persisting pedal edema of the dorsum of both feet since birth, which gradually progressed to tense distended abdomen and peri-orbital edema. On further examination, the bilateral pedal edema was pitting type, and per abdomen examination revealed tense distended abdomen with slit-like abdomen and fluid thrill positive.
