We describe a near fatal poisoning in a family of eight caused by accidental ingestion of Aluminium Phosphide (A1P) and Dichlorvos (DDVP), common and readily available pesticides used to kill rodents and insects in stored farm products. Management challenges in a rural hospital, where most accidental agricultural based poisoning cases are likely to present are also discussed.en_US
