Intestinal Heterophyid infections are almost unknown in India with only one documented case report. We report a case of six year old child with diarrhoea without any other associated gastrointestinal symptoms. Examination of the faeces revealed eggs of Metagonimus yokogawai. However, the patient left against medical advice and was lost to follow up. The case is being reported because of its rarity.en_US
