Aim: Soft tissue injury, especially lip burns, is very common complications seen during the third molar and other intraoral surgical procedures. To overcome this complication, we have devised a custom-made protective lip guard which is beneficial for the patient as well as surgeon. Conclusion: It is simple device, very easy to fabricate, does not require any special armamentarium or material to fabricate, not time consuming, and eco-friendly. It is comfortable and readily accepted by the patient.en_US
