Abstract
An unusual case of mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma is described which
posed a diagnostic challenge in view of neuroendocrine component mimicking
signet ring cells of adenocarcinoma. Diagnostic criteria for these mixed tumors,
their histogenesis and treatment modalities are highlighted.
