dc.description.abstractA 35 year old male with thrombotic obstruction of the inferior vena cava superimposed on a membrane was treated by prolonged (48 hours) infusion of streptokinase followed by balloon membranotomy. The procedure produced excellent clinical, hemodynamic and angiographic results which are sustained at the end of six months.en_US
