Studies on acute abdominal cases in private clinic.

A cross sectional type of descriptive study was done on acute abdominal cases attending in one private clinic in Mymensingh town. The study was done in the year 2002 by collecting the secondary data of 1998-2001. Data were collected from the record book & filed documents of the clinic. The study result shows that in those four years (1998-2001) 1445 patients got admitted into the clinic with acute abdominal cases & all of them needed immediate surgical intervention. Majority of the patients of acute abdomen admitted in the clinic or private nursing home is of immediate surgical intervention.
