Item Growth study of a nonpathogenic strain of Leishmania donovani with different nutrients.(1990-09-01) Majumder, R; Sen, G PThe studies on growth pattern of a nonpathogenic Leishmania donovani, strain UR6, in different media showed that it can be regularly cultivated amd maintained in modified Ray's Medium (Agar) and three other liquid media, namely DME Medium, Medium 199 and RPMI-1640 which are manufactured in India. The well known N.N.N. Medium provided quantitatively poorer growth in comparison to these medium. Measurement of L. donovani cell concentration by optical density in a spectrophotometer has been worked out for expressing immunochemical observations on antigens in terms of cells per mililitre.Item Immuno-biological behavior of mallein & its fractions.(1977-11-01) Marathe, C R; Kumar, S; Singh, G; Sen, G PItem Immunological behaviour of a crude Brucella melitensis lysate.(1968-06-01) Sen, G P; Ghosh, S S; Singh, GItem Lactoserological study for detection of Q fever infection in freshly secreted bovine milk.(1981-07-01) Aich, A C; Halder, S K; Khanna, P N; Sen, G PItem Microscopic agglutination test in detection of Leishmania donovani antibodies.(1992-12-01) Majumder, R; Sen, G PItem Respiratory illness and tuberculin sensitivity among children below 15 years of age in a rural community.(1992-04-01) Sen, G P; Biswas, G; Hazra, P GThe incidence of respiratory illness and tuberculin sensitivity of children below 15 years were studied among 245 families in village Chinimore and the observations were compared between two groups families keeping livestock and families non-keeping livestock. There were 135 (out of 446) children with respiratory illness with 30.2% incidence and 45 (out of 187 tuberculin tested) children were positive to Mantoux test. Families keeping livestock had statistically significantly more (P 25.18 of 0.1% level) tuberculin sensitive children.Item Role of Brucella and Coxiella burnetii infections in pyrexia of unknown origin.(1977-07-01) Sen, G P; Khanna, P NItem Sero-epidemiological evidence of Coxiella burnetii infection among selected human population in Calcutta.(1978-12-01) Sen, G P; De, S; Chakravorty, A K; Saha, S C; Bera, A; Khanna, P NItem Zoonosis as a national problem and its control.(1984-04-01) Sen, G P
