The measurement of marginal contraction gaps was the basis for determining the effectiveness of this bonding agent. The use of the bonding agent led to a significant reduction in restoration marginal gaps. Thermocycling of restorations with the bonding agent resulted in a widening of the marginal gaps though this was not significant.
