Fasting high density lipoproteinslevels were determined by cholesterol esterase-cholesteroloxidaseperoxidase method. Proportion of differentcomplications was also determined.Conclusion: It was found that average serum values of highdensity lipoproteins in type II diabetes mellitus patients wassignificantly decreased as compared to control group. Majorityof systemic complications were cardiovascular in whichhypertension was commonest.
