The current paper tries to venture into this area and to consider the need and possibly of having a uniform referencing system. Objective – The study aims at identifying the variations in the referencing style followed by various journals. Design – The study included the observation of differences in referencing pattern of journals. Outcome measures – the differences in the pattern of referencing.
