In assessing the present condition and to determine the prognosis of the outcome of the patients after surgery in relation to anesthesia, different grading and scoring systems have been used. Grading & scoring for physical status, cardiac index, dyspnoea, liver function, hepatic coma, lung function, multiple injury etc. are very much useful and used for particular system involved.
