Spontaneous perforation--a rare complication of choledochal cyst. Indian Journal of Gastroenterology. 2004 May-Jun; 23(3): 111-2http://imsear.searo.who.int/handle/123456789/63586We report a 2-year-old girl with spontaneous perforation of choledochal cyst. Preoperative diagnosis was possible by hepatobiliary scintigraphy. In view of emergency presentation and bile peritonitis, management was a staged procedure with peritoneal lavage and T-tube drainage of the biliary system, followed by excision of the cyst and Roux-en-Y hepatico-jejunostomy 3 months later.engChild, PreschoolCholedochal Cyst --radionuclide imagingDigestive System Surgical Procedures --methodsDrainage --methodsFemaleHumansPeritoneal Lavage --methodsRupture, SpontaneousTreatment OutcomeSpontaneous perforation--a rare complication of choledochal cyst.Case Reports
