The swelling rapidly increased in size during the pregnancy & underwent spontaneous necrosis of skin with fungation & haemorrhage. Fine needle aspiration cytology showed a diagnosis of fibroadenoma. Lumpectomy was performed in the emergency & histopathology of specimen revealed infarction in fibroadenoma.
