Siriraj Medical Journal, 1986 Aug; 38(8): 567-570.http://imsear.searo.who.int/handle/123456789/138455Reported here is a case of a 32-year-old woman who had abdominal pain, jaundice, and associated with a right upper quadrant mass which subsequent ultrasonography revealed as a cyst located adjacent to the gallbladder. Exploratory laparotomy showed a type-one choledochal cyst with a tumour embedded in its wall. Adenocarcinoma was reported from frozen section study. Cystostomy with T-tube drainage was initially performed and pancreatoduodenectomy was later done. The tumour, studied by routine processes, immunoperoxidase method, and electronmicroscopy, was finally diagnosed as adenosquamous carcinoma. The patient was still 4 months after the last operation.enAdenosquamous carcinomaCholedochal cystAdenosquamous carcinoma arising in a choledochal cyst: A case report.Article
