This study mainly focus on how much awareness people have who are already on high risk for stroke. Methodology: Sample size was 500. This hospital based survey done in urban population from. There is a three-part self administered questionnaire was used in this study which include demographic data, warning symptoms and treatment of stroke. Before filling the questionnaire duly consent was signed by patient, explained the questionnaire and then questions were asked during a one-to-one interview in the local vernacular language. Conclusion: This study shows that the knowledge regarding the organ involved, warning symptoms and risk factors were comparatively better than other studies.
