Target patients for this approach include mainly patients with drug-resistant and advanced forms of tuberculosis but also drug-sensitive tuberculosis in some settings like malignancy and extra-pulmonary tuberculosis. Integral to this approach of palliative care is the concept of managing of comorbidities with tuberculosis.
