Thirteen cases of malaria are presented for their protean manifestations. Five patients presented for chronic urticaria with or without polyarticular arthritis, another mimicking acute rheumatic arthritis. A case of reactivation of pulmonary tuberculosis and the other to with apparent chloroquin resistant malaria who responded to combination of verapamil and chloroquin. A case developing Guillain Barre syndrome and another complicating into dilated cardiomyopathy are the rarities.
