Abstract
The purpose of this research is to follow-up the deaf students graduated from Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University about the ability to work adjustment, the job satisfaction, employers and family member satisfaction, their problems and needs. The population consists of 82 graduated students in 2003 academic year, 320 employers and 82 family members. Three questionnaires were distributed; one to graduates by hand in the follow-up seminar, the other to employers and family members by mail.       The findings showed that graduates are employed 92.7%, working in organizations 85.5% and worked for their own business 14.5%. The positions are teacher, teacher assistant, clerk, officer, sign language interpreter etc. Most graduates could adjust themselves to their work environment quite well (2.40). The most graduates were satisfied their job moderately (2.21). The employers and family members were highly satisfied with the graduates’ capability (3.86 and 2.60). The graduates’ problems were lacking of knowledge, experience in controlling kindergarten’s class and in setting student individual plan, and also not knowing how to correct the students’ improper behavior. Most of them were insufficient in writing and reading skill. They need some more academic and on the job training courses from Ratchasuda College in order to make them accomplish their job.
