Abstract
Rabindranath Tagore was a great humanitarian and a romantic poet as well. Tagore holds a highest position in the realm ofBengali poetry. He has written many romantic poems in his carrier. Among them ‘Shyamoli’ is the most important. In thiscollection of poems, ‘Shyamoli’, Tagore has drawn a marvellous picture of romanticism as well as of romantic emotion. In thepoetry like ‘Manasi’, ‘Prabhat Sangit’ the idealism about love has been reflected in an unique way. In ‘Shyamoli’ the grown up hindof Rabindranath Tagore has recognized an identified love in a more matured way. In it love and tragedy have been lingted up in amost beautiful way. In the realm og Tegorian poetry ‘Shyamoli’ has turned into a monument of love.
