Abstract
Pyogenic granuloma (lobular capillary hemangioma) is a common
acquired vascular lesion of the skin and mucous membranes in the
pediatric age group. Pyogenic granuloma and hemangioma of oral
cavity are well- known benign lesions. The clinical diagnosis and
differentiation of these lesions is at times difficult. The purpose of this
article is to report an unusual case of benign tumor occuring on hard
palate which was clinically diagnosed as pyogenic granuloma and
hiatopathologically as capillary hemangioma.
