Abstract
Parkinson’s disease is often associated with hallucinations
and psychosis. Till now typical and atypical antipsychotics
(Clozapine & Quetiapine) are being used to manage these
symptoms. Recently US FDA has approved a new drug
Pimavanserin for the treatment of hallucination and delusion
associated with parkinson’s disease psychosis in a dose of 34
mg.
