Abstract
In the era of Bengali literature, Abhijit sen is a famous novelist in recent time. He is famous mostly for his novel Rohu Chandaler Haar. In this novel, he represents the life of bajikars. Their living style is full of variety. They fellow few of their own customs in their life. The bajikar’s were generally considered by the established society as nomads, thieves or beggars and transform into a race of peasant man. They have so many obstacles in their way of life. But they did not stop. They still fight to establish themselves as peasant man in order to get rid of their nomadic life. And after five generations shariba still carries out the legacy. The present paper tries to show nomadic people’s struggles in different aspects regarding their life and works in the context of the novel Rohu Chandaler Haar.
